Welcome to Double Dime Ranch
Enjoy the hunting experience of a lifetime in the beautiful Texas brush country. The Double Dime Ranch is a working game ranch affiliated with the Atlanta Braves’ 1999 National League MVP Chipper Jones. The ranch is nestled in the heart of the “Golden Triangle”, a South Texas hunter’s paradise. Situated conveniently south and west of San Antonio, the Double Dime covers over 9000 high-fenced acres dedicated to the raising of native wildlife.
This privately owned, professionally game-managed ranch has been, for a number of years, the exclusive refuge of a select few family members and friends. An extensive game-management program has been under way to improve the quality of all wildlife within the boundaries. In 2004, the ranch was opened to a limited number of sportsmen for exceptional hunting and recreational opportunities.
Trophy white tail deer, dove, Rio Grande turkey, bob white quail, ducks, bobcat, badger, Javelina and hogs are all native to the Double Dime. With plentiful water and varied types of vegetation and terrain, this acreage has an excellent carrying capacity and produces high quality game of all types. Our fully guided hunts include the use of custom spacious blinds with or without automatic feeders, custom designed hunting vehicles, as well as knowledgeable and experienced hunting guides familiar with the ranch’s special attributes.
The Double Dime has a fully automated skeet range, a rifle range, and stocked tanks for fishing. Accommodations include a spectacular hunting lodge complete with eight rooms, and four motel-style rooms each sleeping up to three hunters.
We offer two deer hunts per year guided personally by
Chipper Jones. These hunts offer the unique opportunity to visit with Chipper in a one-on-one hunting situation on some of the most impressive hunting land in Texas.
This unique ranch is easily accessible by fully paved and maintained farm roads from Crystal City or Carrizo Springs, Texas. |
